- Research and analyze the latest trends and technologies in the field of data analytics
- Research and identify new features and enhancements for the data platform
- Research, Develop and Maintain data models, schemas, and database objects
- Research and Implement data security and privacy measures to protect sensitive information
- Work closely with development team to demonstrate the research results and architecture roadmap to ensure the platform is up-to-date with latest industry standards
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Cassandra
- Research and Define all aspects of development from appropriate technology and workflow to coding standards
- Nurture a deep understanding of the solution architecture, translate process, information entities and systems solutions into accurate, easily understandable architectural diagrams or viewpoints.
- Work on prototypes and concepts for new technologies and ideas with little or no guidance.
- Accountable to oversee package-based solutions holistically to ensure seamless integration with other application / infrastructure components
- Knowledge on Solution Design, Review and Implementation.
- Gather, understand and synthesize documentation including journals or conferences/research papers available and to be able to extract right information and transform it into different architectural diagrams or viewpoints.
- Requirement:
- University Bachelor Degree or Master Degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Business Systems or related disciplines.
- Minimum 15 years of IT experience with at least 5 years hands-on project lead experience
- Exposure to multiple, diverse technologies, system design and development
- Knowledge in cloud-based architecture and system design framework.
- Design and develop scalable data systems that meet business requirements.Ability to define multiple solution options to business problems.
- Experience in software development and coding in various languages (Java, C#, Python, .NET etc.)
- Proficiency in Java EE including JSP, Servlet, JavaScript, XML, HTML5, JSON and EJB
- Knowledge of application design in OO programming, API, UML, Tiered architecture, Relational Databases and Web development
- Excellent technical knowledge of up-to-date data systems and standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data needs and develop solutions.
- Understanding of software quality assurance principles
- A technical mindset with great attention to detail
