Plan, oversee and organize events from start to finish according to requirements, target audience and objectives
Coordinate and oversee all logistics and on-site operations of an event including facilities, decorations, catering, entertainment, transportation, location, invitee list, special guests, equipment, promotional material, etc. and supervision of personnel
Prepare budgets and manage all events elements on time and within budget
Be an internal communication bridge with cross-function departments
Source and negotiate with venues, vendors and suppliers
Proactively approach and handle issues and troubleshoot any emerging problems on or before the event day
Follow through and conduct pre- and post-event evaluations and reports; and propose ideas to enhance event quality and success
Provide guidance on audience recruitment, eDM promotion, registration and database management
Manage and implement databases, participate in data mining, information collection and integration with the use of internal and external systems
Requirement:
University degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Hospitality Management or related field
Minimum 4 years' proven experience in event management, being gained from events agencies, PR & Marketing companies will be an advantage
Good English and Chinese language skills, with Mandarin a plus
Good communication and negotiation ability
Strong sense at the design of user experience, research, and learning skills to always keep in pace with the latest technology
Good problem-solving skills and customer-service orientation
Candidate with more experience can be considered as Assistant Manager
Immediate Available is highly preferred
