• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent, OR preferably over 10 years’ of related IT
experience.
• Practical experience in IT operations, data centre management and IT service
management.
• At least 5 years in managerial position.
• Familiar in core banking system operations in IBM mainframe, and batch job
scheduling
• Manage IT Operations Team and service vendors to provide 24x7 systems
operations support to meet the service level agreed. Monitor system performance
and provide improvement suggestions from an operational standpoint.
• Proactively collaborate with other cross-functional IT teams in managing system
changes, incidents and problems.
• Ensure data centre environmental control and physical security compliant with
industry standards.
• Maintain system recovery plan and lead disaster recovery drill on a regular basis.
• Manage the maintenance of IT operations related policies, procedures, and
service level agreements up to date.
• Manage help desk to provide IT support and guidance to users as service level
agreed.
• Assist in periodically IT budget preparation.
• In-depth knowledge of data centre IT operations of scalable systems, including
networking, servers, storage solutions, virtualization technologies, cloud operations,
disaster recovery, high availability, and security.
• Strong in leadership and problem solving, with good skills in communication and
presentation.
• Holder of ITIL or security related professional certification or equivalent is an
advantage.
• Good command in both written and spoken English and Chinese. Fluent in
Putonghua is preferable.
