Conduct research on emerging telecommunication technologies and standards, with a focus on 3GPP standards
Assist senior architecture / research lead on research, design and develop advanced telecommunication solutions
Develop proofs of concept and prototypes for new network solutions based on research findings
Experiment with new platforms, tools and programming languages as needed for research projects
Be part of a team in conducting research, development and integrates applicative support on telecom network solutions and systems, support activities and further development of solutions.
Research, Design, and implement telecom components, applications, and messaging feature functionality.
Provide technical support and guidance to team members and stakeholders on matters related to the 3GPP standard and developed solutions
Maintain detailed documentations of research findings, solution development processes and performance test results.
Participate in relevant industry conferences and research workshops, enhancing the organization’s visibility and staying abreast of the latest industry trends and research development
Liaise with external stakeholders such as vendors, researchers, and partners to understand their challenges and requirements, and incorporate these insights into the development process.
Comply with all relevant regulations and standards, maintaining an in-depth understanding of any changes to the 3GPP standard.
Contribute to the creation of patents for unique and innovative developed solutions
Requirement:
University Bachelor Degree or master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field
Minimum 10 years of working experience in Telecommunication Network Design & developments
In-depth knowledge of 3GPP standards and telecommunication protocols
Experience in software development over Linux
Experience in software development and coding in various languages including Java, C, C++, Python.
Proficiency in Java EE including JSP, Servlet, JavaScript, XML, HTML5, JSON and EJB
Strong understanding on full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
Analyse research data using statistical analysis packages like R or Python
Present research demos and prototypes
Knowledge of network emulators and telecom protocol analyzers like NS-3, OPNET, wireshark and TCPDump
Proven track records in J2EE-based application project delivery
Ability to collaborate in a team environment but also work independently
