- Supervise the Service Support teams, which provides support function to all areas of the computer and other customer’s Information System (IS) in the development, implementation and maintenance of production application.
- Supervise and monitor the performance of production support functions.
- Assist Regional Manager to manage the support function.
- Review new application system or major changes from operational viewpoint and supervise operations acceptance testing process.
- Supervise production job scheduling to attain maximum throughput.
- Provide 7x24 support to the production systems to determine the course of recovery/remedial actions to keep the system availability and performance to agreed service levels.
- Development of staff in technical and management skills.
- Develop yearly planning and objectives for the direct reports staff to implement.
- Perform and review performance appraisal for Service Support Analyst
- Develop key performance and high potential staff for succession planning.
- Requirement:
- Degree in Computer Science or related disciplines
- Minimum 2 years’ management experience in Technical Support functions
- Minimum 10 years’ Systems Programming experience in MVS with knowledge on: Storage products, Scheduling tools, CICS/MQ, Database software (DB2, IMS) and Network communication protocols
- Strong people management, project & vendor management skills
- Strong analytical skills and able to work under pressure
- Good understanding of banking or financial business
- Good command of written and spoken English & Chinese
