Business Development Manager (Partnership Focus)
**Location:** Kuala Lumpur – Malaysia Remote/Home-based (Extensive domestic travel required in Malaysia)
**The Opportunity:**
We're seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to drive our Malaysia partnership initiatives. This role requires extensive domestic travel to establish contracts, develop supplier/agent networks, and ensure quality compliance.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop markets and distribution channels for water-based coatings in Malaysia
- Set and execute sales strategies to achieve business targets
- Manage key accounts, coordinate logistics, and oversee after-sales service
- Lead pricing strategies, contract negotiations, and payment collections
- Conduct market intelligence on competitors, pricing trends, and regulations
- Collaborate cross-functionally with logistics, technical teams, and other departments

- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Business English or related field
- 3+ years in manufacturing, chemical industry or international trade sales
- Fluent in Chinese and English (Malay proficiency advantageous)
- Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Willing to travel domestically 50-70% of working time
- Industry knowledge in manufacturing/chemical raw materials preferred
- Proficiency in Office suite and CRM systems
