After joining the company, you will be responsible for the following tasks.
- Building relationships with politicians and responding to individual requests
- Planning and implementation of external relations
- Understanding and developing the latest status on policy trends
- Preparing policy recommendations, reports, etc., and explaining them to relevant parties and negotiating
- Building relationships with government officials, industry associations, etc.
- Planning, managing and distributing information on external relations-related events
- Office work for economic organizations
- Other public policy matters
Mandatory Qualifications:
- Experience as a secretary to a member of parliament
- Experience in duties related to the above job description
- Ability to comprehend and understand complex documents such as laws, regulations, and government documents
- Ability to create documents and materials necessary for performing duties
- Native-level Japanese proficiency

- Ability to think logically and communicate smoothly and accurately with stakeholders
- Strong interest in social, economic, and technological trends, as well as
domestic and international policy developments affecting the internet industry; ability to understand Rakuten Group's management policies and
strategies and apply them to work
- Sense of urgency and responsibility; ability to set personal goals and work independently
- Willingness to handle necessary administrative tasks
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in planning and legislative affairs at national government agencies
- Experience in policy-related work within external affairs departments of private companies or economic organizations.
