- Conduct research on the latest trends and technologies in the fields of 5G and 6G networks in areas like mmWave, network slicing, mobile edge computing, private mobile networks and intelligent network automation
- Conduct research on the 3GPP standard to gain deep understanding of the specifications and requirement
- Research, Identify and propose solution components, include wireless communication systems, protocol stacks and signal processing techniques
- Work closely with the development team to ensure the systems are designed and built in compliance with the standard
- Participate in industry events and conferences to stay up-to-date on the latest developments in the telecommunications standard and related technologies
- Research and develop main technical interface towards different departments including Core, Network Solutions and R&D
- Collaborate with teams, such as product management and quality assurance, to conduct tests and evaluations to ensure that the systems comply with the 3GPP standard and meet quality standards
- Responsible for technical and dependency analysis, planning and coordination of various telecommunication network activities.
- Provide guidance and support to other team members on the telecommunication standards and related topics
- Requirement:
- Master Degree or PhD in Telecommunications or Computer Science, Business Systems or related disciplines.
- Minimum 15 years of working experience in Telecommunication Network Design & Optimization, deployment, and integration and over 10 years on application development
- Proven track record in J2EE-based application project delivery
- Strong technical knowledge in 5G cellular network and platform system. Experienced in dealing with cellular network features, configuration and performance management data.
- In-depth understanding of 5G and 6G mobile networks and the 3GPP standards
- Strong foundation in Telecom Network Design & Development
- Familiarity with industry trends and emerging technologies related to 5G and 6G networks and 3GPP standards
- Experience in software development over Linux
- Experience in software development and coding in various languages including Java, C, C++, Python.
- Proficiency in Java EE including JSP, Servlet, JavaScript, XML, HTML5, JSON and EJB
- Strong technical writing skills for research publications and project reports
- Self-motivated individua and ability to work with diverse partner groups.
- Experience in researching and developing 5G technologies and autonomous and simulation systems will be a plus
